What is a burble Relaxation?
Don’t be scared. Relaxations are exactly what they sound like- they are relaxing!
burble relaxations:
the process or action of bringing about or giving rise a relaxing subconscious state.
What is a relaxation?
A “relaxation” is the process that burble utilizes to get you into a subconscious state. It’s not magic, but rather a series of techniques that help relax the body and open the subconscious mind.
What types of burble relaxations are there?
Our relaxations can include:
Having a user visualize images;
Focusing the users attention to things like the breath or body for tension release;
Story telling;
or even confusion tactics like talking really fast.
What is the purpose of a relaxation?
The purpose of a burble relaxation is to help get a user into the subconscious mind to help create powerful change.
How do you get into a subconscious state?
It’s a process. In fact, just like falling asleep, some people can make it happen quickly. However, for others it may take a bit longer.
Your custom burble session allows you to pick one or multiple burble relaxation techniques to help you zen out. Each induction is geared to help focus the mind, while relaxing the body through techniques like visualizations, directives, and/or stories.
For example, one relaxation might be having you visualize walking down a staircase, while the next is visualizing and remembering what a hot bath feels like. This relaxation aim to help you leave daily life and enter into the creative subconscious state.
Why are relaxations important?
Relaxations are a key component to the success of a burble session, because if you do not get into the subconscious state, the suggestions provided in your burble cannot go into the subconscious mind. This means, that the suggestions for change will not enter into the place where your root emotions and behaviors exist to change them. While there are no guarantees a suggestion will be accepted, the chance for acceptance increases significantly when provided to the subconscious mind verse the conscious mind.
How do I know which relaxations are good for me?
There is no hard set of rules that dictate what relaxations are better than others for an individual. We recommend trying a few and finding which are your favorites. In fact, because each day is different, you may find that some days one works great and then other days it’s not as effective, and you may find others more enjoyable. This is why burble puts you in the control seat!
Listen to what YOU LIKE. Not what we think EVERYONE SHOULD like.
Induction Examples:
Walking down a staircase…
A burble induction might have you close your eyes and visualize walking down a staircase. In the visualization, we may ask you to imagine a staircase you have seen before or just make one up! As we guide you down the staircase we could ask you to remember the feeling of walking or the momentum of moving down toward something. This helps you focus on our words AND tap your memories, creative mind and relax. In turn, as you follow along, your thoughts quiet down too.
